Meet the Teachers  at Greater Johnstown High School (Johnstown, Pennsylvania)

Cynthia Maloy Hi, I'm Ms. Maloy! I'm a 2004 graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I majored in Art Education. It's hard to believe that I've been teaching Fine Arts and Crafts at Greater Johnstown High School for the past ten years! Teaching Art is a very rewarding career! This year my classes include Art I, Crafts I, 2D Design, 3D Design, and Ceramics. I am so proud of my students' talent and dedication to the arts. Again, this academic year, the Art and Key club members will be participating in the Empty Bowls fundraiser. During the 2010- 2011 school year we were able to raise enough money from this fundraiser to donate nearly $2,000 to three different charities! This year we hope to surpass that amount. Tricia Patula Hello! My name is Tricia Patula and I am a 1993 graduate of Seton Hill College where I majored in Art education. I have been teaching Art at the Greater Johnstown School District since 1999. During that time, I have taught Elementary Art, Arts and Crafts at the High School, and I presently teach Commercial Art/Graphic Design to 9th-12th graders. I am currently a member of the School-Wide Positive Behavior Support team and I co-advise the High School Art Club and the High School Key Club.
