Paula Kingsolver
My name is Paula Fry Kingsolver. I have been a teacher at Wright Elementary for 17 years. I spent my first 10 years in early primary and then had the privilege of teaching visual art for the last 7 years. I love creating art with our students at Wright. I am so very blessed to have a job I love working with the amazing faculty, staff, and families at our school.
My Big Goal: to motivate students to put their best effort into their artwork and develop a sense of self-confidence and pride in their p ... read moreroducts. As students achieve this goal, they will gain a more in-depth understanding of the content and vocabulary through creating, observing, and discussing their own and others’ artwork.
I grew up in Bagdad with my two sisters and brother. We all attended Shelby County Public Schools. My husband, Steve, and I have a creative and talented son, Noah who is a second grade student at Wright. What little time I am not at school or doing school work is usually consumed with Noah's soccer, baseball, and basketball games as well as taking him to hip hop and tap class then Shelby Christian Church on Wednesdays and the Shelbyville Country Club swim team in the summers.
My faith, family, friends, and school are all such a blessing to me and I am so thankful God has given me such a wonderful life.
