Biography

I am currently teaching in the Richland School District, but I have a lot of experience in A LOT of different places! I have taught art to all age levels from pre-K all the way to high school art. That is one of my favorite things about teaching art- I get to work with students at all different points in their artistic development. I have also taught Summer School and Summer Camps. I have taught in the following cities: Oshkosh, Ripon, Marathon, Amherst, and Baraboo.

In order to teach art I needed to get a degree in art education. I went to The University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh for all 4 years of college. While in college I gained experience teaching by working at the local YMCA teaching Ice Skating.

When I am not teaching art I like to hike, swim, ice skate, read, bake/cook (and eat!), doodle, experiment with different art materials and techniques, take pictures, Geocaching, and play card/board games.
