Biography

Hello everyone!
I am the art teacher for the students at St. Coleman School. I teach grades kindergarten through 8th grade and we have some pretty special & talented students! I attended Furman University on a volleyball scholarship and majored in Fine Arts in 2003. My personal art can be found here: www.carriebennett.net From murals to street painting I love to paint dreamlike and boldly colored imagery that tells a story :)
One of the things I love about art is the way that it can communicate about who we are. What we create can display the interesting and beautiful things about our lives and how we think! This makes us truly unique and shows how we truly are handcrafted creations by a brilliant God!
