Biography

I have been teaching high school art for the past fifteen years. I love teaching high school artists and the excitement that happens when students realize their abilities.
I teach six Art Courses at North Collins Jr/Sr High School - Studio Art, Ceramics, Drawing & Painting, AP Independent Study, Photography, and 7th and 8th grade art.
In addition, our Scenery Crew, who volunteer their time after school and on weekends, create beautiful stage sets for the musical each year.

My goal for my students: to provide opportunities for new discoveries in the art world and to realize their potential in their art making.

I am a native Pittsburgher, but my husband and I settled here in Western New York with our three children...who are now adults and college graduates.

I love to paint with oil paints, create with clay and take lots and lots of photos. I also enjoy visiting Art Museums and Galleries and travelling with my family.
