Biography

Hello everyone! As always, we have lots of exciting things coming your way from JIS this year! Please take sometime and look through our gallery, remember this is not only a great way to support your students but the school as well!

A Little About Me:
I did a lot of my growing up in Licking county, I attended high school at Watkins Memorial. I received my BA in Art Education, Psychology, as well as a minor in Art Therapy from Capital University in Bexley, Ohio, as well as my MAE in School Administration. Before coming to JIS, I also taught two years of Middle School/ High School Art at a Columbus charter school, as well as acted as the AVID elective teacher, and AVID district director. As I said before, I'm very excited for all the possibilities this year holds and can't wait to see the beautiful artwork the students will make!
