Biography

I went to school at the University of Nebraska at Omaha for my K-6 teaching degree with an art minor, then went to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln to get my K-12 art endorsement. I also studied painting at the Art Institute of Chicago. I have been teaching art for 27 years. I grew up in McCook and always knew I wanted to come back to the area. This is my 16th year at Cambridge. I am also the Art Club sponsor and have taken the art club on trips to many interesting places out of the state. I love to make art myself and love to try out new forms and new media. I love the challenge that comes with a new technique. I want my students to have that love of learning new things and to continue to want to have new discoveries in art and art forms past their high school years.
