Biography

I am an Art teacher in my 20th year of teaching here at Palmyra Elementary School. I truly love and enjoy all forms of art and teaching them to watch others grow in their creativity and love for art. My personal favorite type of art is printmaking, although now I am more of a painter. In college I had a hard time choosing my art emphasis because all art disciplines appeal to me. I love incorporating art history and artists into my lessons I teach at school. I also dabble in teaching canvas painting classes and creating various art on the side. Im always looking for something new to try to become an expert at. It is my goal to be such a well rounded artist that I could teach any artistic discipline to any age. I strive for personal education as I am a constant learner, researching and looking at ways to improve what I teach to my students and how to create art efficiently and with ease to maximize the fun!
