Biography

Ms Ives has been an art teacher at Elementary North since 1999. She studied Art Education and Art History at Northern Illinois University. Ms.Ives believes every person, young or old, can make art and that being visually literate is an increasingly important life skill for todays young people.
Outside of the classroom, she is an active trader of art with other artists and sells her paintings both online and at art shows in the area. Her work has recently been featured in Art Trader magazine.
