Biography

I'm in my 37th year (actually I retired at 35 years and rehired) of teaching art to grades K-7 here at Ayersville. Nothing is better than being able to teach and share with my students what art can do for them in their lives as they discover their art niche. Teaching art and encouraging my students is my passion. I think Artsonia is one of the best ways I can share this with my students and their families and friends.
I received my Bachelors Degree from Defiance College, my Masters Degree from the University of Saint Francis, and 30= extra hours of classes.
I'm a "Maineac" having grown up in the great state of Maine, and I love to visit my family there and also photographing the beauty there, that I took for granted growing up.
My husband and I have three sons, two daughters-in-law (so far) four exchange student "children" (Japan, Taiwan, Germany and now Italy), a grandson, and a grand-daughter (who I'm already doing art with).
