Biography

I am the teacher for all the art classes at Waxahachie Preparatory Academy, from kindergarten all the way through to 12th grade. It is a wonderful job, because I love art and I have the most wonderful students and families.
I obtained a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in ceramics and minoring in metals. I have taught in several public schools in Texas and Missouri, but teaching at WPA has been by far the best experience of all.

Dear Parents, As you browse through our wonderful Art Gallery remember: all the money generated through Artsonia helps to purchase art supplies for our school. When you order gifts for Christmas, birthdays, etc.,Waxahachie Prep gets a % back that we can use to buy much needed supplies. This helps replace worn out markers, colored pencils, and paint brushes and to replenish things like watercolor paper, clay, glazes, and other important and expensive supplies. We have a top-notch Art Room and we aim to always provide our kids with the best supplies.
