Biography

Hello! My name is Megan Vieck (formerly Megan Hoke), and I am the visual arts teacher at North Daviess Jr./Sr. High School! I began teaching at North Daviess in November 2009 on a temporary medical leave and was hired full time in August 2010. I was very lucky to find my job!! I graduated from Indiana University in December 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education. I am thrilled to have found a job at such a wonderful school with great students! I have enjoyed seeing their artistic talent develop throughout the last two years, and I am anxious to see how the program grows in the future!

My purpose in creating the Artsonia online art gallery is for family members, friends, other students, school faculty, and community members to see the amazing artwork the students have been producing in the visual arts department at North Daviess! My goal is for each art student to have an online art portfolio to display artwork from their high school art career when they graduate.

I hope you enjoy view our online gallery! If you see something you like, please comment on the artwork or join their fan clubs! The students deserve the recognition because of all their hard work and dedication! I am so proud of each student for their accomplishments! Copies of the artwork can also be purchased through the website, and a portion of each purchase will be given back to the art fund at North Daviess! Thank you for your support!! :)
