Biography

As a graduate of Luther College [BA] with an Art & Design major and a K-12 Art Education & Methods minor, learning about, creating and teaching of the arts is my passion. Through my Ashford University MATLT I love to integrate technology into the arts curriculum and aid older students in learning about the graphics & design world with digital media. The arts are a limitless expression that any student can grab a hold of and translate.
I love to travel with my husband, we have 3 rescued dogs from WI, IA and SC, and Mrs. Ward is expecting a new baby November 18, 2012! Her oldest dog, Zoe, is a certified Therapy Dog and we visit local schools, hospitals and senior homes for emotional therapy. Visual arts surround us in everyday life, whether I am doing landscape designing for a local company or painting in my spare time, it helps us to identify who we are as a human race as well as individuals and unique cultures.
