Biography

I serve as the 1st and 2nd Grade Lead Out of School Time Mentor, and Art Specialist at Carole Robertson Center For Learning's location in Albany Park. I work directly with preschool through middle school children at the center. I moved to Chicago from the southeast Missouri area over 15 yrs. ago with my husband. I taught at CPS and Logan Square Neighborhood Community Center for 8 years providing a variety of child and adult art instruction, classes and family events prior to joining CRLC.

I admire and draw inspiration from the students every day in addition to appreciating the beauty of everyday objects and nature.
Artist, I admire are Van Gogh, Deborah Butterfield, Frida Kahlo, Philip Taaffe, and Tulla Pink just to name a few.
