Biography

Mrs. Brooks has been at Monocacy Valley Montessori Public Charter School since fall of 2019. Prior to teaching at MVM, she taught for 11 years in Fairfax County Public Schools as an elementary art teacher, grades K-6th. She is excited to teach her students how to be creative thinkers and problem solvers. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family, read, and make art. She especially loves embroidery, but also enjoys drawing, painting, and collage.
