Biography

Hi there. My name is Mrs. Greeley. I am the art teacher at Portage North Middle School.

A little bit about me, I believe..... "Art is my life and my life is Art" This quote seems a bit over the top but it rings real true when you are a creative type. I love anything creative and exploring all mediums. I find myself putting a creative spin on everything I do in my life. I also take pride in the fact that I think I can do anything and love to try new things. Anyone can complete new things with greatness if given enough time to practice :)

I have been teaching for 15 years; 11 of those have been at Portage North Middle School. I try to push my students outside their comfort zones, to explore their imaginations and the plethora of possibilities out there. My hope is that even if my students decide they don't like to create art that they at least walk away with an appreciation for it.

I love it when students get excited about something that they are creating. It's important for them to be able to share their artwork with others. This platform gives them an easy way to do that.
