Biography

Mrs. Schoening is originally from Council Bluffs, IA. She moved to Iowa City in 2013 and graduated from the University of Iowa with her BFA in Ceramics as well as her teaching certificate in 2017. She worked in the Iowa City Community School District shortly after graduating and started working at Winfield Mt. Union in August of 2018 teaching K-12 art.
