Biography
I am originally from Fort Stockton, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Art Education and a minor in Drawing. During my undergraduate studies, I explored a variety of art disciplines, including ceramics, painting, metals, sculpture, illustration, and drawing.

I began teaching at Hornedo Middle School during the 2017–2018 school year and have been proud to be part of the Hornedo community ever since. I currently teach Art 1 and Art 2, where I enjoy helping students develop their artistic skills, explore new materials and techniques, and build confidence in their creativity.

In addition to teaching art, I am also the JV Girls Basketball Coach at Franklin High School. Whether in the art room or on the basketball court, I enjoy challenging students to grow, take risks, and take pride in what they accomplish.
