Biography

I teach La Academia and Kinder Academy in Chaska, MN. At LA/KA we use the TAB(Teaching Artistic Behaviors) system for teaching Art. This allows students to think like an artist and opens up chances for them to learn from their mistakes and grow in their creativity. We work with a system of mini-lessons mixed in with big ideas, that students take and turn into their own WOW project (wonderful, original, work of art)

I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a degree in K-12 Art Education and a Master's degree in educational technology from Concordia St Paul.
I enjoy Photography, Painting, and Drawing in my free time, as well as Minnesota Sports and nature! Thank you for supporting our artists!
