Biography

Hello, I’m Julie Glossenger, and I’m excited to be bringing valuable art experiences to young artists for the 12th year in the Rockwood School District. My education background includes a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Painting from Truman State University and a Master’s of Arts in Education from Truman State University. I also have National Board Certification in Visual Arts.

My favorite artistic medium is painting and in my spare time, I love to hang out with my husband and dog in our home in South City, St. Louis. I’m a passionate learner and am currently building my skills in creating art informed by science and discovering all the cool functions on my DSLR. My favorite subjects to paint are animal and plant specimens.

I’m greatly looking forward to working with your kids to help them become explorers of the world and artists in their own right.
