Biography
I am a 72 year old artist with my own art studio in Atwood Ks. I have been painting for over 30 years, and have been teaching for 20 years. I began teaching private lessons in drawing and painting. My medium of choice is oil and watercolor. I am self taught as well as workshops. Some of the artist I have learned under are Water coloriest Anna Sieber Shaw, Western artist Jack Sorenson, oil and artiest Linda Glover Gooch. I taught at Baker art center Liberal Ks as Well as Plains and Kismet elementary schools. I am currently teaching at Rawlins County Elementary K-6 grades. I am now in my 10th year. I also teach art to learning challenged adults. I live in Atwood with my husband Gary Fisher retired pastor serving Haigler UMC part time. We have a blended family of 7 children, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grand children. My love of art and a heart for children is what keeps me teaching and I will continue as long as they will let me.
