Biography

I'm an art teacher with a passion for graphic design, photography, music, and travel, and I love indulging in a good book.
My favorite art movements include Impressionism, Cubism, Dada, Surrealism, Expressionism, Op Art, and Pop Art.
I’ve had the privilege of teaching at Highlands Christian Schools for nearly 20 years, from 2002 to the present.
I studied graphic design at Universidad Dr. José Matias Delgado in El Salvador and furthered my education at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Now, I live in San Francisco, California, with my husband and daughter.
I’m grateful to have a job that allows me to draw on the elements of teaching that are integral to who I am while working with students who inspire me every day.
