With this piece of work I tried to make a self-portrait with a graphing technique that helped me place the picture on the paper with out tracing the actual picture. I also added different shades of pink in places where it was darker or lighter in the picture. I learned different ways you could use texture in your background, the texture I choose to do was splotching.

In this artwork I also used different methods to help create my pinch pot creature and to make it look more like a dinosaur. I learned a technique called scoring, it helped me add certain features like the hat in places where I couldn't use the pinch pot method.

With this art work I was trying to make a room with realistic objects that are usually not in a room together. To make some objects look more realistic I had to add some shading so it didn't look like it was just standing there. While working on this project I learned how to draw the room and the box from perspective to make it look more real.

In this piece of work I tried different types of illusions by making the background swirl and add lines to the sea horses to make them look more 3D. While making this art I learned how to shade properly in the illusion to show more depth withen my work.
