Welcome to our Hemlock visual arts gallery on Artsonia. Thank you for visiting and supporting the arts. The money generated through Artsonia will help purchase art supplies for the school. I am an advocate for Art Education. Art Education stands alone in it's need in the school curriculum. Art unites all core subjects. It builds confidence and self -awareness in students. Students begin to think about what they feel. Art developes verbal skills. Art brings helps students understand other worlds and cultures. Through art students develop independent thinking and become creators, problem solvers and inventors. They are challenged to think beyond the surface.
