Welcome to our visual arts gallery on Artsonia. Thank you for visiting and supporting the arts. We are working artists in our TAB studio, or Teaching for Artistic Behaviors, style classroom. This method of learning focuses on the students as the product, not the art. Remember, a child’s’ artwork does not look like an adult’s artwork! Your students are creating and discovering using the Studio Habits of Mind as a guide. These habits are: Develop Craft, Engage & Persist, Envision, Express, Observe, Reflect, Stretch & Explore and Understand the (art) World. This approach follows the state and national art standard and provides students an authentic experience creating THEIR own art. The money generated through Artsonia will help purchase art supplies for the school.
