This time of year, I would normally be scrambling to finish selecting and matting artwork for the local art show. Middle School students would help set up peg boards, tables and haul a few hundred pieces of artwork over to the High School gym. We would set up throughout the entire day taping, clipping, carefully checking for labels and removing gym bags from the bleachers.
This year the traditional art show will not happen as normally planned, but maybe we can reach more of an audience to honor our talented young artists. Linked here is the
K-8 Art Gallery filled with artwork not only created this school year, but work from the past decade! You may search for your beloved artist(s) and see individual work or entire portfolio from their time in Oakley Schools. We are especially proud to share the work they have created these weeks during quarantine.
Please take time to share some comments with these kids who deserve our praise for a job well done.
