The Importance of Place

First and second graders are starting to think about places that are important to them. After brainstorming an important place, they created a practice artwork. Students will then learn about landscapes, architecture, and maps, and choose one to create a final artwork. Students will also be learning the art terms, foreground, middle ground, and background.
