K/1 Skill Builder: Paint Around the Room

Students rotated around the room exploring various painting techniques. One table had warm colors and used crayons as a resist. Another table had cool colors and used oil pastels as a resist. One table had a rainbow of colors and used tape as a resist. The last table had primary colors and students added salt at the end to create beautiful textured colors. Students then chose their favorite paintings, added to them in their own styles, matted them and thought of a title to complete them.
