Unity Quilt

A school collaborative collage

This collaboration was inspired by the quilts of Libs Elliott. Grace students Kindergarten to Grade 5 contributed by creating one or more squares of this collaborative quilt. Each grade level received one 6”x 6” background square. Then students selected three more colors of their choice. Students were asked to cut their shapes using only straight cuts to create more geometric shapes. Shapes were arranged and then glued onto the background square. Background color by grade; Kindergarten pink, Grade 1 blue, Grade 2 yellow, Grade 3 green, Grade 4 purple, Grade 5 orange.
