Little Landscape in a Leaf

Third grade artists learned about the tertiary colors on the color wheel and applied their own color scheme of 3-5 colors to their watercolor skies. Students created contrast by leaving the landscape drawn in pen and ink, in the style of artist Jen Aranyi. Finally, students added chalk pastel to the frame of their project to create emphasis. Beautiful job, third graders!
