Inspired by “The Swing,” an 18th-century oil painting by Jean-Honoré Fragonard in the Wallace Collection in London. It is considered to be one of the masterpieces of the Rococo era, and is Fragonard's best-known work.
Many students also recognized that it is featured in Disney’s movie FROZEN :)
In this multi-media collage piece, students created a portrait of themselves, swinging from a branch while beautiful flowers and vines surround them!
