3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students learned about the artist CIndy Dauer and her art dog project from her blog, The Slumbering Herd. Cindy used markers on small cards to create humanistic portraits of dogs accompanied by a short story about the dog's character. West End students used marker on glossy photo paper to create these amazing portraits as well as learned about anthropomorphism and personification.
