Owl Drawings on Dictionary Pages
Gallery
About this Project
With just one day of art class left, 2/3 students did a fun and quick drawing assignment. By putting together a series of simple shapes, they drew cute little owls. What made these owls different from their usual drawings, was that they drew on photocopies of the "O" page from the dictionary, rather than on plain drawing paper. In this way students learned that, with permission, they can draw on any type of paper - old maps, books, magazines, newspapers, or whatever they can find.
