About this School Project (Story Quilts Grade 2)
Art tells a story! Students thought of a special place or memory and drew a picture of it using watercolor crayons. Inspired by a famous artist who made story quilts, the students then used old wallpaper sample squares to make their quilted borders. They wrote down their story to go with their quilt and shared it with the class to complete the story quilt project to celebrate "I Love to Read".
