Artist Statement (what Cara1942 said about their artwork)
In this piece I drew an image of a human skull. I chose this piece because I am infatuated with human anatomy and the bone structure beneath the skin. This piece was fun to create because I’m working with a very comfortable media that can show my skills with shading. The hardest thing was creating the darkest shadows because my shading style is usually bright. I learned how to create values and improved my shading skills.
