About this School Project (1st- Self-Portrait with Winter Coat)
Students painted a self-portrait with tempera cake paints. They added a fabric scarf, buttons, and cotton balls for the "fur" on the hood of their winter coat. They painted a background using tints of blue with tempera paint and added snow for a wintery effect. We had so much fun using many materials in this lesson!
