About this School Project (Looney Tune Name Design)
Students learned to create concentric circles with round items, and then chose either warm or cool color palettes to color in the circles in the tradition of the "Looney Tunes" cartoon logo. Students then wrote their names in print or cursive and used the opposite color scheme. They colored their names in bands of color, so all of the letters eventually blended together into one shape, and cut it out. By placing the name on the background, students created CONTRAST. We also talked about how their piece is more interesting by gluing their name diagonally, instead of horizontally.
