About this School Project (Penguins: Grade 1)
Students drew a penguin before adding fun details (hat, scarf, cheeks, etc). Students outlined their penguins with a black sharpie marker before coloring them using paint sticks. Students cut out their penguins and added them to the painted backgrounds they created using tempera paint. Lines, shapes and color were the Elements of Art the students focused on in their cute winter penguins.
