Artist Statement (what Hannah35917 said about their artwork)
My favorite part of my project is the extra plants I put around the cactus. I did not like the cactus as much as I thought I would. I saw a photo of an artwork on google that inspired me to make this. I would make a different arrangement of plants if I could make this again. I would change that because I do not like the cactus that much. I learned the pinch pot while making this project. I made the pot and added a layer to put plants on. Next, I added the plants and the cactus and painted the project.
About this School Project (Clay Creations)
5th and 6th graders chose their own clay project. They learned about hand construction methods with clay and made a plan on how and what methods they would use to build their clay project idea.
