About this School Project (Helen Hardin inspired compositions )
Students looked at the art of Native American artist Helen Harden. Helen’s work often showcased animals and bright geometric forms. Students were to pick an animal that they identified with and draw it large on the paper, and then color in with colored pencil. The drawing was done on top of a watercolor washed background.
