About this School Project (1st: Polar Bears!)
Students learned about form and creating shadows with charcoal to create a more realistic look. We looked at photographs of polar bears and did a directed drawing of how to draw a front facing polar bear. We painted with liquid watercolor for our skies using a crayon resist technique to create the snowflakes.
