6th grade artists continue to explore watercolor skill and techniques. A variety of circles were traced lightly with pencil, with a highlight added. Artists were practicing control of the amount of water used. The edges of the bubble were created using less water, which makes a darker value of the color. The inside of the bubble is lighter in value, therefore more water is used. These 2 techniques create an object that is represented as three dimensional.
