About this School Project (1st: Jen Aranyi Winter Landscape)
Students learned about Etsy Artist Jen Aranyi and her winter landscapes. We learned that a landscape has 3 different parts to it; the foreground, middle ground, and background. Students learned what a horizon line is and how objects appear smaller when they are further away. For this project we drew our own winter landscapes in the style of Jen Aranyi and explored color mixing with watercolors to make our galaxy skies! They choose 2 of the 3 primary colors for their sky and mixed them together to make a secondary color.
