About this School Project (Birch Trees: Grade 2)
Students used water color paper painters tape to create their Birch trees. After applying tape, the students used water color to paint their sunset skies. Students were encouraged to use warm or cool colors. After removing the tape, students used charcoal pencils to add implied texture lines to their tree trunks and branches before blending their dash lines. Finally students painted paper and used the paper to create birds for their art. The final details on the birds were added with Sharpie marker.
