About this School Project (4-C Shaking Dogs inspired by Iris Scott)
Iris Scott is an American finger painter. She claims she got her start as a finger painter because she was “too lazy to wash out her brush” and decided to finish a painting with her fingers instead. Obviously her experiment paid off, as she is able to create vibrant paintings full of movement and life, all by using her fingertips and oil paints. Because of this she likes to call herself a "professional kindergartner". 4th graders created paintings of shaking dogs in the style of Iris Scott. Their paintings included splatter painting and finger painting which was super fun to make and showcases the illusion of water shaking off of dogs to show movement in their artworks.
