About this School Project (1st Grade Night Time in the City)
Students were asked to share what they see in the city.. Downtown rather than what they see in their own neighborhoods.
We also discussed how many beautiful patterns are made in the buildings at night when lights are on. We overlapped different rectangles to show space. Then added things like skywalks,street lights, fire hydrants, planters and trees, lights and other details we notice about the city.
We did pretend that we could see the stars in the sky over a well lit city.
