About this School Project (Glue Resist Portrait)
Students learned about the artist Sandra Silberzweig and looked abstract faces artwork. After a discussion about abstract and realistic, students drew their own abstract face, adding repeated lines, shapes, and textures to their drawing. They then traced their drawing with black glue. Finally, students learned about analogous colors used chalk pastels to color in their creation.
