Students viewed bird puppets from Guatemala. Birds and feathers have been important for ceremonies and art in Guatemala for thousands of years. Bird puppets are a way to teach children about birds. They create their puppets from sticks, wax and feathers. Our Kindergarten students created their puppets from modeling clay, craft sticks and feathers.
