About this School Project (2nd G Tangram Collagraphs)
Second-grade students created a collage using the seven Tangram shapes which we had created out of a 4 inch square of wallpaper. They could select one of eleven animal templates provided or create an original image of their own. Details were then added to develop interest level and finally, the collage was used as a printing plate - a Collagraph.
*This year the Tangram Collages are being created during the 2nd G Math/Art Integration sessions and so the work of each class will be added to the gallery as we progress through the year.
