About this School Project (Papel Picado)
Papel Picado, or punched paper, is a craft made in Mexico for Days of the Dead. These celebrations take place in Mexico and parts of the United States, and the main idea is to celebrate LIFE, or rather, the life that loved ones once had. Since traditional papel picado is made of tissue, it is very fragile-just like life.
